Before visiting Leanna I had no game, no motion and most importantly- no girlfriend. After visiting her she’s completely changed my life and now I literally can’t keep women off of me. Leanna has an absolutely gifted talent for cutting hair, creating a comfortable space for all of her clients and always guarantees you’ll leave the establishment satisfied with your service. Im hesitant making this review because I kinda want to gate keep from anyone scheduling with her but she deserves every bit of praise. Keep killing it girl- but gentle.🫡

I came here intending to get great haircuts as I did in the past…I expected nothing less from this salon from the type of salon it is, and where it was located. I had an awful experience. My hairstylist cut my one son’s hair just perfectly. I was very satisfied, but on the other hand my other son had the worst haircut he has had in his life. I trusted this one hair stylist here because she has done my boys hair before with no issues what so ever. Let’s just say when a child has to tell the hair stylist to stop cutting that they are cutting to much then you know it’s bad, but that’s only the start of it….My oldest goes to sit down, and starts to get his cut…I am waiting for a long while in the lobby. I have been going here for over a year, Since I moved to NC and refuse to go anywhere else. My experience has been fantastic. The receptionists are always friendly and offer a drink right as you walk in. Alizabeth always cuts my hair and she never misses. I have asked for multiple different types of haircuts and she always nails it, aside from that she is very friendly and professional. Awesome group of people that work here. Highly Recommend

I went to Sheer Excellence after booking online. I could not remember ever going to an actual salon, and I was slightly intimidated. The front desk staff greeted me quickly and offered me a drink. I took a cold beer and waited my turn. Leanna was my stylist and she was awesome. She consulted with me before grabbing scissors or clippers. She was sure to ask clarifying questions. After a dope hair cut, she washed my hair and no lie, it was so relaxing. She explained all of the products that she was using, why she used them, and why its good. After styling my hair she made sure I didn't leave my jacket behind. This was a really great experience and I will be back soon.

When I first visited Shear Excellence years ago, right after they opened, you could truly feel the excellence—in the environment, the treatment, and the overall experience. It felt intentional and high-quality. On my most recent visit, that feeling was gone. I understand that businesses evolve and focus on growth, but it seems quality has taken a back seat to production. The experience felt rushed and transactional. Yes, I arrived a few minutes late, but the irritation from the stylist was noticeable and unhidden.
