Shear Sensations

I could not be more pleased with my haircut from Dana F. She truly listened and took her time to make sure I was happy with my cut. This was my first time getting my haircut since moving to this area and she helped with any reservations I had. She immediately made me feel comfortable and heard! I will definitely be using her as a stylist again.

Decided to try Shear Sensations since it is close to my home and I haven’t been completely happy with previous cuts at other salons. Phyllis cut my naturally curly/wavy hair and did a wonderful job. She cut it exactly how I wanted it and took her time layering it. I’m especially happy that the haircut didn’t cost an arm and a leg like most places. I hated spending $75-80 on a haircut that didn’t turn out how I really wanted it to at other places. I also like the option of just shampoo and haircut without styling bc no one can get my hair curly like I do, so I don’t like paying extra for that. I’m happy to have found a new salon close to home at a price that doesn’t break the bank, and with friendly service.

Moved here from Pittsburgh and had the same stylist for forty years,was very nervous but, Dana did a few minute consultation before getting started. My cut turned out awesome. I already set up a second appointment. Prices very reasonable.

My last two appointments at Shear Sensations were a bust. Two months ago I arrived on time for my appointment. My scheduled stylist was more than an hour behind. Finally another stylist was free and cut my hair. The next month I again arrived on time and was then told it would be at least a 45 min wait. The receptionist just shrugged her shoulders and said there was nothing she could do about it. There was no one else available. I left and will find a salon that has some respect for my time. Even a phone call ahead of time saying they were running late would have been something. Stuff happens but at least care about the inconvenience to me.

Worst experience ever at a salon. My hair color was horribly done by Phyllis. Owner never apologized. I do not recommend this Salon! A horrible mistake to go there as the hairdresser did not know how to color hair. As a reply to the owners remarks…yes, I was satisfied until the last visit where I had the horrible color experience. A call was made to my home when I was not there but no message was left, so it was the Salon that should have called back.
