Today is my one-year loc anniversary and I'm starting a new job soon. My locs were looking ROUGH! I chose Sheldeez because other hair salons in Herndon and Reston make it super complicated to get locs done. Sheldeez listed all their services and pricing upfront and it was easy to set an appointment. I walked in for the first time and it was a great experience. My hair was SCRUBBED clean. My hairstylist was Jello and she was very personable and made sure we both knew what was going to be done to my hair. I decided I wanted to interlock, which is a different price than a retwist. Jello came back and told me the updated price and we vibed the entire time. I roughly have 75 locs. Wash, condition, interlock, twist the locs together to repair the ends AND a seat under the dryer only took 2 hour

Came here for the first time and it was a wonderful experience. I received a wash, deep condition, trim and medium knotless braids. Joy did a fantastic job on my hair and the stylist who trimmed my hair was very nice and gave me useful info about upkeep. There were two disputes I witnessed while I was there and the salon manager handled them both professionally. One was having to do with the price of the services, but when I looked online their prices were clearly posted and the customer was being charged what was advertised. So far, so good, I will be returning

You try and support your local community but places like Sheldeez makes it hard. I asked for a simple halo braid and sent photos of similar styles and was told no one could do them. Then, l received a phone call from Sheb (she said this was her name) saying it could be done from $90-175, depending on the style. All styles could be done in less than an hour with my hair washed before the appointment. Against my better judgement, l allowed them to do the halo braid. Of course the price was higher than originally quoted but was able to be worked out. When l returned home from running errands, looked in the mirror and white gel/mouse/products everywhere. My edges and back were so white and not from gray hair. They product your hair to death when completely unnecessary and quick to make a hair

I had an amazing experience getting my silk press at Sheldeez Hair Salon! My hair came out super smooth, shiny, and full of movement. The stylist was professional and made sure my hair stayed healthy throughout the process. I will definitely be coming back — 5/5 service!

10/10, would definitely recommend! The women work in this establishment are very friendly and warm. I had an appointment for a trim and silk press, Promise did my hair and I absolutely LOVED it. She was so sweet and cared about my experience. I have extremely thick and long hair, but Promise worked though it like it was nothing. My hair felt so sleek and healthy! I still definitely be coming back again!! 🩷🩷🩷
