Shemen African Hair Braiding

Shemen is the woman! Amazing she was so professional with my hair and super fast and always answered her phone. I really love it. It’s the first time I do braids and I am in love. Everywhere I go I have received so many compliments, this woman has blessed me :). I have very straight hair and I’ve had my braids for a week now and they still look amazing and are still getting lots of compliments. Thank you Shemen! Will definitely be coming back to you.

I had the most amazing experience, the shop was extremely clean. The owner and her staff were very nice and accommodating to my daughter and I. We were extremely happy with our boho braids and we left happy to will return in 2 months. Thank you Shemen, you exceed my expectations. You deserve a 10 out of 10 for your exceptional service.

I went here for the first time about 2 weeks ago. The shop owner was so nice and helpful. She took me as a walk-in without an appointment. She was quick, efficient, and gentle on my scalp. I will be going back to her the next time I plan on getting my hair done.

Spent 180 for knotless box braids, took about 4.5 hours. My stylist who wasnt the owner had a baby which wasn’t the issue. When she changed his diaper and feed him she didnt wash her hands only use hand sanitizer. My middle part is curved and she didn’t deserve my $20 tip but whatever. Wont be back 🤷🏽‍♀️

I went to Shemens salon for Senegalese Twist and I must say I am EXTREMELY happy with my hair! I booked an appointment for 10am and upon arrival Mariam started my hair promptly, finishing in 3.5 hours. She made sure my hair wasn't too tight, didn't stress my edges and took into account everything I asked for with my style. During my time at the shop, Shemen and Mariam were very friendly to all the clients that walked in, showing she is well loved as a stylist. I will definitely be back! Thank you Sheman / Mariam.
