Shiny Nails

Came here for years. The pedicures weren’t great but they were decent for the cost. Friends I referred were never totally happy with the recommendation but I suppose I kept going out of convenience. For the second time in the last year the number on the gel color sample I picked didn’t match the number on the actual bottle, and the wrong color was used. When I tried to explain the woman laughed and kept making fun of what I was saying to her colleague and just showing me the matching numbers. At that point I decided I would leave and wait for another day when I could see someone else. After 5 years of loyal service I expected at least an apology or something, but was charged $40 for removing my old gel color and no apology was given. I won’t be back.

People were nice. I wanted to get my gel x manicure removed so I came to this location. The lady was super rough on my nails. The drill bit was too fast, intense and she was too quick with it so she cut my skin in 3 different areas. Now the skin around my fingers hurt and my nails feel weak. I think she drilled too much☹️

I got a regular manicure, and the people were very nice and friendly but the manicure was poor. The application was very messy and lumpy and the bottom was extremely jagged and too far from my cuticle. She also left my cuticles looking very dry and barely trimmed off the hangnails. I previously got a manicure here that was much better but this one was really bad and not worth the price at all. Wouldn't go back.

Honestly the people here are nice, professional and polite and the atmosphere is very high end especially compared to places in the valley. In addition they are really great for booking last minute appointments and have a ton of color selections. On the other hand, they are very very expensive and overpriced. For gel and an acrylic fill for myself and a friend I ended up paying $90!! I also made an appointment that they didn’t listen was for 2 people, waited an hour after my appointment time and was blamed for the entire situation when it was my turn! In addition to getting a gel manicure before a trip they chipped after 3 days. And my friends acrylic broke after 2 days, went back to fix it and they CHARGED HER!! The woman was rude, gave minimum information but I wouldn't care about the careless service if the job was done well. I had an upper lip wax and a reaction I never had before it's all swollen red and I can't touch the are without cringing from pain. Usually the light redness lasts a few hours with me after a lip wax and all but now the whole day has passed and the pain is stronger than in the morning! Stay away if you can.
