Sho Mays Hair Design

Long story short don't go here. Sho May didn't listen to anything I said, ignored my preferences, said if I cut my hair too short I'd look like a boy (I've had a buzz cut I don't care if I look like a boy), and was rude from the moment I stepped into the shop. She basically gave me a bowl cut when I wanted a short pixie, which I have had many times and have loved but she said I didn't like the cut because I regretted cutting my shoulder length hair short. At the end of the haircut I didn't trust her with my hair enough to ask her to cut more off. I will be going to a proper salon to fix this next weekend. I can style it so it's cute but it's not close to what I asked for.

The lady was amazing, great service, so kind. She cut my hair perfectly, better than what I asked for. I asked for a wolf cut with curtain bangs. She washed my hair for free, was so gentle with my hair and it looked so much better than I expected. Definitely recommend this place. Amazing prices, amazing customer service.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! My neighbor referred me to Sho May’s Hair Design (my neighbor’s hair always looks beautiful) and I was SO nervous at first. I had previously gone to a different hair dresser for over 12 years. As if having to start over with a new hairdresser isn’t scary enough! Sho May did my color, cut & highlights. I am (ABSOLUTELY) thrilled how my hair turned out! I will be going back for hair maintenance for sure. Being able to schedule was simple and easy!! Sho May is the sweetest lady, she took her time with me, we went over color swatches and discussed what I wanted and there was NOT, ONE BIT of pressure and I love that. Thank you, thank you, thank you Sho May!
