Sika Hair Braiding

I get braids 4 to 5 times a year since 2011. Less than two weeks ago I got boho knotless for the first time. Needless to say, I definitely won’t be back, they lost a loyal customer. The braider would not listen when I asked for her to braid my middle tighter. Most of my curls fell out or became extremely matted so i cut out the remaining. I’m left with regular braids after spending $270 for hair that did not last a week. I just can’t with this place. In addition to a wasted hair style they don’t have any urgency so expect to be there ALLLLL day. Pack a lunch! To add, I dislike the fact that they took advantage of the tariff situation, increasing the price of their services and claimed it was due to tariff costs…as if their fingers now cost more money. I’ve found another shop to do my same

I'm going to Sikas for the last 20 years and they never fail! I always Love my hair! I always love the environment and they make me feel like family! Celeste does the front of my hair every time!

I'm giving 1 star because I go all the time and have never had a bad experience but this time the braider Mimi messed up my hair... she over charged me plus I tipped her. I got my hair done on Saturday. Look at my head. It looks like a kid was playing in My head.

Honestly, they might as well go ahead and close down. I’ve been getting my hair done here for almost 20 years now and continuously give them chance after chance. The quality of the braiders they have now is not the same as it used to be, and Celeste is getting old as well as Sika. They cannot do the latest styles in addition to them still using Vaseline and shine jam to mold hair for braiding. As soon as I walked out the shop, my roots were frizzing. My braids looked 2 to 3 weeks old hours after getting them done. I am taking them out now and they are 2 1/2 weeks old. A total waste of money and time.

It's just ridiculous we come looking for someone to do two braided ponytails for my 9 year old daughter they said $100.00. if that wasn't bad enough they tried to tell us what my daughter would prefer for the $100.00. I think I could get some box braids for that price for my 9 year old daughter. Anyways I say charge your worth so we can not complain but don't try to tell us what we should get for the price we paying ‼️
