Sinister Salon

Came here with my kiddo for some much needed haircuts; I'd seen awesome things from Sinister Salon online and was excited to see it for myself. Definitely 10/10 would recommend. The scheduling process was easy, the salon itself gives a laid back, punk tattoo shop vibe to me and theres sooo much awesome art and personality on display throughout the whole place. Pricing is definitely reasonable, and the stylists did great with mine and my kiddos hair. We plan to come back in the future for sure 🌻

I came in very excited for this appointment, especially because I hadn't gotten my hair cut professionally in over four years. I was very clear about what I wanted: long layers, keeping my bangs long, and a cut that would help slim my face. Unfortunately, I got the complete opposite. The stylist, Turbo, gave me short layers, cut my bangs way too short, and left my hair extremely choppy. The front pieces were thinned out so much that it actually makes my face look wider, which is the opposite of what I asked for. My hair now requires daily styling just to look decent, and even then it's hard to work with. There's really no fixing it. I got this haircut for my trip out of town. I booked a long hair cut with Britney and she is the best hair stylist I’ve ever had! She’s super friendly and personable from the moment I walked into the salon. She made me feel very comfortable and explained what she was doing as she went. She also gave me great advice about products and listened to my hair journey and vision I wanted for my hair. I loved my hair so much after she was done. I will definitely be back!!! Thank you so much Britney!! You’re awesome!

I originally went to another stylist to get a wolf cut, but it quickly became clear she didn’t really understand what I was asking for. I left feeling pretty disappointed and unsure how it could even be fixed. I called Sinister Salon and spoke with Bre, and she completely turned the experience around. She squeezed me in last minute, took the time to really listen, and immediately understood the balance I was going for — something edgy and fun but still appropriate for my corporate job. Bre paid attention to every detail, offered great advice, and made sure the cut worked for my hair and my style. The end result was exactly what I had wanted from the beginning. Even my husband loved it, which says a lot. I will never go to another salon. I’ve officially found my home at Sinister Salon. I

Late review: I had booked an appointment with Paige for Jan 10th but Melissa stepped in due to Paige not feeling well that day. It was the first time in years I had stepped foot in a salon so I felt a bit nervous at first and Melissa made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. Throughout the session, she was fun, attentive, friendly and we were chatting back and forth— it was great. Felt like I left the salon with pretty hair AND a new friend ☺️ I can’t wait to come in again! What a lovely experience!
