I recently revisited Sisters Salon after a long absence, having moved to Philadelphia 14 years ago. My experience there was nothing short of delightful, particularly thanks to Carrie, who nurtured my hair for many years before my move. Walking into the salon, I was pleasantly surprised to find it thriving amidst the rapid changes in downtown Brooklyn. Carrie greeted me warmly, instantly recalling our long-standing relationship and the care she had given my hair in the past. This personal touch is a testament to the bond she forms with her clients. Carrie's expertise shines through in her approach to hair care. She not only understands how to maintain healthy growth, but she also tailors her services to meet individual needs. During my latest visit, I was due for a deep conditioning treat

I’ve been getting my hair done by these fabulous ladies since way back when they were located in Fulton Mall under Toys “R” Us (now Albee Square), so that tells you how long I’ve been a loyal client. I usually go to them for coloring, blowouts, and hair treatments, and I always leave feeling and looking amazing. Each hair technician has their own unique style, which I love because sometimes I want sleek and straight, and other times I want volume and body. From the washers to the stylists, everyone is truly wonderful. Thank you all for your hard work and for always providing such amazing service. LQM 🙏🏾♥️💋

I went to this salon yesterday because I had an emergency. My hair is naturally straight, but I needed a quick blow-dry since I had a dinner to attend. Because it was unplanned, I went with my boyfriend. When we arrived, I asked if they had availability. The girl who greeted me was very kind, but once I asked about getting my hair done, the atmosphere became uncomfortable and tense before they finally agreed to take me. I asked about the price, and no one gave me a clear answer at that moment, which I don’t think is fair. They washed my hair and then asked my boyfriend to leave, saying there was no space for companions. (The place was not busy) I asked again about the price, and the stylist who was going to do my blow-dry had no idea how much it would cost. She had to ask another lady, wh

From the moment I entered and asked for the service till I was told how much the service was, the attitude and the hint of racism was spewing out of the lady there. I asked how much a blow dry and flat iron was she said $95. I’ve heard stories before, but I still wanted to give them a chance. Please save your time and money.

I’ve been coming here consistently since 2018. I originally saw Evelyn and later Erica. As a single parent, finding time to take care of basic things like haircuts is not simple, and this was one of the few places I trusted and recommended to others. Today, I was told only after arriving that my one-year-old son was not allowed. He was in a small stroller, immobile, quiet, and completely under my supervision. There is no signage on the door, no mention during booking, and no notice until I was already standing there prepared to wait for my appointment. I fully understand safety concerns with older children who are mobile or disruptive. That is reasonable. But excluding an immobile infant in a small doona stroller without prior notice is not a safety policy. It is a barrier to parents, and
