Smitty's Unisex Barber Shop

Very disappointed in this shop. Not from the hair cut, but from the customer service. The members are unprofessional. I had been told to set up an appointment over the phone, so I tired and they never respond. So I show up in person twice, and they ignore you after having you wait over 2 hours just to laugh amongst themselves about how long you will sit there before you understand you are the root of their jokes. I am not sure what I did wrong, at first glance it seemed like a nice place but after being made a joke of 2 times in a row I decided to take my money somewhere else. What's worse is how you can do exactly as they say to make appointments ahead of time and still be made to look foolish. They only seem to like their "regulars" who they have a relationship with. I’m all about supporting Black owned businesses, but professionalism is important too! When I first called this shop as a brand new customer, I asked two simple questions: “Are you cash only and if yes, how much should I bring?” Their response: “I’ll take all your money...” that wasn’t my question. That was strike one. Strike two was calling in to schedule a second haircut and listening to the amount of background noise, it was unbelievable! Customers don’t want to hear that. Strike three was showing up to my second appointment to have the barber walk out and say: “I have somewhere else to be. I’ll be back at 2:30.” My appointment was at 1:30, I arrived early at 1:15. No one else was there, the shop closed. Never again! Falls Church has plenty of other options with better service and park

Hubby needed a cut and we got lucky. This place has the small town charm of the traditional barbershop complete with the trash talking and jokes like we like. It was hidden away off the main street, clean with a quirky charm that can be hard to find nowadays. Smitty was delightful and Tony, the barber did a great job. Appointments neccesay. I think we've found a spot!

I get my hair cut by Tony, I say without hesitation he is the best barber around. Cuts my hair exactly how I want it every-time. The freshest fade and clean shape up. When you go to Smittys make sure to ask about Tony. 10/10

I am Indian and was hesitate First time here to trim my bread at Smitty's Shop. Smitty did an awesome job, he really took his time and it came out amazing. I will definitely be back, appreciated. You won't regret getting a bread / haircut done.
