Soho Nails

I honestly hate leaving negative reviews, but I walked out of this place feeling really sad about my nails, especially after paying $150 for something I don’t even love. I had two people working on my nails. One was careful and gentle, but the other was not. She made my fingers bleed twice. When I told her it was hurting and asked her to be careful, she kind of shrugged it off and kept going. It made me feel uncomfortable and not really listened to. When she was attaching the extensions, I noticed she was using a lot of glue. I assumed she knew what she was doing, so I didn’t question it. But that night I actually woke up because my nails were in so much pain. They were throbbing and extremely sensitive. I’m honestly considering getting them removed because they hurt that badly. My favorite spot in nyc for all manicure/pedicure needs!! I have been going for about a year and always get so many compliments on my nails! No one does it better<<3 highly recommend to all

My friend got Gel X nails done here and they turned out absolutely horrendous— they were pointing upwards and horribly shaped. When we returned to ask for a removal or a redo, they dismissed our concerns and blamed her natural nails instead of taking accountability. No solution was offered. We ended up going to another salon, where the technicians were shocked at the quality and even laughed at the poor work. They removed and redid the nails flawlessly. We won’t be coming back. Unprofessional service and zero customer care.

I showed them a design and asked them if they could do it EXACTLYY!!! As pictured. Was it done exactly as pictured or even close to the picture?? No! The colors were okay but the nail art is what gets me. If you are unable to do a nail art that I want, why give me the false hope that you are able to do it and then have me pay $130 for a child doodle… the nail art I wanted is pictured and what I got are the two pictures that’s included in this review.

had the most amazing experience at soho nails!! from ambiance (loved the light relaxing jazz music) to super friendly staff, and most importantly a perfect manicure! I got Gel X and sooo happy with how they came out. Ally did an amazing job! will be back for sure :)
