Where to start? Well, I'm a Los Angeles transplant and this is the best salon experience I've had in my six years living in Memphis. First of all, it's clean, which you will notice immediately upon walking through the front door. Secondly, every hairdresser has their own private studio within the salon. This is a huge plus given the circumstances in which we all find ourselves living today. Thirdly, for me, would be its location. It's literally around the corner from my neighborhood. This is a review on my stylist, Kari Pereira, who has the Twist and Blush studio in Sola Salons. I’ve been going to Kari for many years at her previous salon. When I first met with Kari, she listened carefully as I described my hair concerns (mainly home coloring that permanently turned my hair too dark and lifeless), and had good suggestions on how to correct the problem, pick a flattering color, and help the damage on my hair. My hair is now more beautiful and healthier than it has been in the years before I met Kari. I am very picky and I have never been dissatisfied with her work. Kari does wonderful and long lasting blow outs. I’ll book an appointment with her if I am attending any important events. You’ll love her demeanor too. She is a laid back, very pleasant person.

I like that each stylist has there own enclosed place.less noisy than open salons. Clean facility. Clean bathroom. And I really liked my first visit there with my stylist Janis. She did a great job on my highlights!

They must have adjusted their closing time. I showed just before 7:30pm on 3/28/22, there was one stylist left working, the door was locked, and she peered at me like I was doing something wrong. No, just confusion since your hours state you close at 8, and i just need a simple mans haircut.

I’m a African American female. I walked into the salon to inquire about hair services. I wasn’t greeted however the lady that booth is in the front to the left cracked her door as if my business wasn’t welcomed. So she come to the door and ask me WHAT DO YOU WANT?? I was at a lost for words so I replied is this a Salon? She replied WHAT DO YOU WANT?? I could not believe I was addressed and treated like this in 2019. Very racist!!! Don’t Not Patronize This Business!!!!!
