NOT walk-in friendly I tried to get my daughter a walk-in appointment for her hair, and I was not prepared for what I found here: no front desk, a useless info screen (the stylists it claimed were available were either booked or absent), and a tight little maze of styling suites. During a confused, uncomfortable little walk around this maze, I encountered busy stylists, dark locked suites, and silent, unhelpful faces behind glass from the stylists who weren't doing hair at the time. After that I *did* attempt to go about it the way I gathered they would prefer- online booking. The online booking process is convoluted and very much not streamlined, so we gave up and went down the road and booked at Ulta. I recently had the pleasure of getting my haircut by Mia Tooks, and I have to say, it was an exceptional experience. Not only is Mia incredibly skilled with scissors, but her professionalism shines through in every aspect of her work. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and executed it to perfection. But what truly sets Mia apart is her warm and welcoming personality. It is important to know this is not a standard salon. Each salon inside is independently owned and operated. There is no front desk. Having said that, I have been with the same hair stylist for over 15 years. It's like visiting a friend. I never have to worry about my hair looking bad. She knows what I want b4 I sit down.
