Spa Adolphus

Oh wow, this was a surprise spa birthday gift for my wife. This spa was beautiful and elegant. The place smells so awesome . Friendly staff and the massage were on point, smoothed out all the aches and pains. Adolphus is in the heart of Dallas and worth it.

I really wanted to love this spa, but overall my experience was underwhelming. The reception greeting felt very casual and lacked the level of professionalism I expected. The facility itself is beautiful—clean, with luxurious beds and furnishings. The relaxation room was definitely the highlight, though the outdoor furniture could use some updating. My massage and facial were both fine, but neither felt particularly special or memorable. Checkout was the most disappointing part of the visit. With a $650 bill, I expected a smoother and more attentive experience. The receptionist seemed distracted, engaged in conversation with another staff member, and I had to ask twice for my receipt. My provider made me feel rushed, despite arriving 30 min early. I was charged for an additional service that I did NOT ask for. The front desk did not care to resolve / refund the extra charge. This spa experience and customer service was not worth the high price. Will not return.

I purchased the lovers package which included a facial and massage for 2. Both of the services were great, the staff asked questions prior to tailor each to our individual need. However I would not recommend a mani or pedi. I treated my sister and waited by the pool while she got hers done. She told me the massage included with each lasted about a minute. And the lady asked her numerous times if she was sure she didn’t want clear polish on her fingers. After seeing the results I think she may have been better off going that route. It was regular polish, and many of her fingers and toes had parts that weren’t even painted. For $125 plus 20% gratuity added on, I had much higher expectations.
