Spa At Plantation

My 80 min deep tissue massage with Cheryl Ann was AMAZING!! She knows what she is doing for sure and can pick out the areas in the body that need the most attention. Her pressure was perfectly matched for the different levels of tightness in my muscles. She also did my lovely 25 min facial in the same room which was so wonderful having one service go right into the next without having to move. She was helpful with educating me on issues in my body that were being affected by tight areas. The room was cozy, music perfect and the table was so comfortable. Really enjoyed this experience completely and it got my vacation off to a great start!

I've been to Spa Bleu previously, but, this past experience exceeded my expectations so much that I felt compelled to share. My girlfriend and I decided we deserved a low key pampering day and booked in advance. First, love that they're open Saturday's! As soon as we walked in, every member made us feel very comfortable- inviting and hospitable. We enjoyed our take out from West 82, while they helped pop a bottle of champagne for us to sip on as we received pedicures. This may be solely an isolated experience but my husband and I got the worst massages ever at this location. I was so excited to take my husband for his first spa experience and we booked a couples massage for my birthday. The spa itself is very clean and beautiful. The email instructions stated if it was anyone's first time to please arrive early, so we arrived 20 minutes early. There was only one brief form to fill out which didn't ask very many questions about any sort of personalizations or the type of massage we would like, but it didn't matter because the therapists never even glanced at them. We went for a couples massage and it was very average, probably even below average for what I expect from a spa. My husband said his girl pressed way too hard and didn't ask engage with him to ask about pressure. I asked my lady to focus on my glutes and a little bit of upper trap, but she spent 85% of the massage on my upper trap and shoulder blades and never once touched my glutes, quads or proximal hamstrings. She did a good job on my upper body, but it felt like she basically ignored my hips/legs where I carry most of my tension. Neither of us felt relaxed after leaving and didn't feel like we would come here again.

I just received an 80 minute massage here. I’m not sure who the therapist was. She didn’t bother to introduce herself. The actual massage lasted maybe an hour. I mentioned I get too hot so she covered me with a heavy blanket and added every hot towel she could pull out of the steamer. I did get the impression she was trying to do a good job. But the actual massage consisted of rubbing on oil and then moving on. Except a few of her favorite areas she rubbed to death. Back. Left arm. Neck. Really dug in the neck. No area was properly massaged. No asking if pressure was okay. No what areas are sore. No taking my comfort into account. Actually no words at all.
