Spalon Montage

I had a great experience at Spalon Montage. I booked the Classic Retreat, which included a facial, a massage, a hair blowout, nails, and lunch, and everything was wonderful. The timing between services was seamless, and I never felt rushed or left waiting. The facial and massage were both incredibly relaxing. For the nail service, they used Dazzle Dry, which I absolutely love. The staff was excellent, and the lunch was a great added touch. I left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to go back!

What an amazing day! Greeted by kindness, quick change into a robe and a relaxing sit by the fireplace preservice, so much love already! Amanda, my massage therapist, listened to me and worked on what I really needed, she is super sweet and lovely. Dee, my esthetician, led me through the facial with facts and genuine skincare tips. I felt well cared for and each service was tailored to my needs without even really saying anything- PERFECT!

I visited location on October 21st at 7pm to book my very first professional haircut with Jocelyn! Let me tell you. I have never had any experience inside of a salon, but my opinions about what I wanted done with my hair were still heard out and addressed with care. Jocelyn listened to what I wanted while keeping in mind what would enhance my beauty!!! She's very sweet and understanding and I didn't feel judged at all for it being my first time. She even gave me tips on how to style my hair! I am an Asian woman with fairly thin hair and she was able to layer it while keeping my hair long and I'm really grateful!! My hair grows back fairly fast, so I will be trying to book with her again in December. I wish I could just have her at home!

I grew up going to this location in Edina and had a great stylist who ended leaving to go to another place. I've tried a handful of stylists here and the last few times I have been left severely disappointed and questioning why I paid as much as I did for haircuts that were uneven, rushed, and basic hair care rules not followed by one of their top hair colorists. For context I had dark hair and wanted highlights, the hair stylist did not ask me 1. If I have ever previously died my hair and if so when and with what products. 2. They did not do a test strand to see how my hair would life. 3. They literally pulled out the foils and ripped my hair out because they were running behind 3. I’m soooooooo DEVASTATED!!!! Literally cried my whole 40 min ride home just now. Went in for dusting and rounded layers. Half of my hair was cut off!! My hair used to be right above my bottom when straightened and now it’s barely passed my shoulders curly. literally the most opposite of a haircut I’ve ever asked for, probably will never go in anywhere to get a “professional” haircut again. Front also feels longer than the back, but I’ll have to deal with it. Got home straightened the back row to try and feel better by giving it some length. Feel even worse… it’s so uneven. Two days later spoke with Joleen… Got shit service from her too over the phone. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!
