Sparkle Nail

Paid $55 for acrylics, no cuticle prep. Cut nails way too short even after i communicated I wanted them longer. Went back again because I’m stupid. Go to anyone but Micheal. He will waste your time and money. Messiest manicure I’ve ever had and takes advantage that I don’t want to correct him or ask him to do his job properly. They have some other nail techs that do a good job like Mia, but do not go to Micheal, he will straight up rob you and not do half the steps a manicure requires.

I had the absolute worst experience here. I show the nail tech the design I want and he says okay. I asked him a good 10 times to fix or change something because it wasn’t looking anything like the picture. He got visibly irritated with me. I went through 3 different nail techs. None of them could do it. None of them told me that they could not do it. None of them asked me to find something different. I ask the woman I was with to stop and take off the nail polish because I was done. She proceeds to keep trying. I again ask for them to take off the nails and that I was going to go somewhere else. Another man came over and tried. They were extremely rough. My fingers are red and sore. I ended up again telling them to stop and that I was not going to be paying. One of them laughed in my face

I hate leaving negative reviews because I know how much they can impact a business, however, after getting to my car and seeing how sloppy of a job was done, I feel like I need to. The reason my star count isn’t lower is because the owner was wonderful and if you request to work with him, I believe you won’t be disappointed! He started my nail prep and was friendly and thorough. He had to go assist someone else, so one of the other nail techs took over. She seemed to be new? Or at least I hope she is. The negative experience started by me having to remind her to turn on the nail dryer 5 times… Not a big deal. Then she managed to get nail polish all over my hand and on my sweater. Again, not the end of the world. She said “all done” and I noticed several spots of nail polish on my finger

When I came in, I asked for regular polish because I had gel on and was wanting to air out my nail bed, but the man who did my manicure (I believe Michael?) asked if I wanted gel because they’d dry faster. I figured he was just trying to upsell and I didn’t really care, so I said sure. Then I showed a picture that I wanted of ombré French tips, and he said I couldn’t do that on a natural nail and would have to get acrylics, which I know isn’t true, so I told him that we could do regular French tips. He spent a lot of the appointment on his phone, which I really wouldn’t care about if the nails had turned out well. Here are the gel French tips when I got home. The white polish isn’t very clear at all, has spots where it’s dingy, and bubbles. This was $40.

Great pedicure! Got right in and they were very friendly. Prices were average for the area. I've definitely paid more for a worse pedicure. He took his time and had great attention to detail. I will come back next time and every time!
