Sparkle Nails

I used to go to sparkle nails when Min owned it. She was professional and did a great job. Then she sold it to another owner, but they didn’t change the name. I have to say I had a few good manicures and pedicures after Min sold it. There were a few UB students working there that were OK. I don’t do gel so I can’t comment on that. The last time I went there, the owner used a tool on my cuticles to file them down. I never had anybody else do that. She made deep gouges in my fingernails that left red marks and my nails hurt for weeks. I pointed this out to her the next time I went in. She acted as if she didn’t understand what I was saying and was a little rude. I left and never went back. I was checking current reviews to see if Sparkle Nails had new owners. It is a very convenient location

I like the manicure but didn’t love the nail shaping technique I asked for oval and kept having to ask for her to make it more skinny/round. I wish they had a greater color selection. Also the gel isn’t too smooth, several air bubbles the camera didn’t grab too well.

On 9/12/2024, I came in for a gel manicure. The woman who did my manicure cut me and I was bleeding around two different nails. I wanted to properly wash my hands and disinfect the area. I have seen horror stories of people getting painful infections from salons. She put some green liquid on my cuts trying to stop the blood, but couldn’t communicate what the green liquid was. She used a piece of paper towel that was used and sitting on the counter to dab the blood. She didn’t even get a clean piece of paper towel! I had enough! I understand cuts happen occasionally, but using a dirty paper towel to clean a cut is disgusting. I told her I was going to wash my hands and clean the blood. She said my nails were not dry and began to yell at me. She wouldn’t let me wash my hands! I decided to en

They do the best job around! I've been going here for a few years!! I've gone few other places and nothing compares. They are all very sweet and professional. I was going through a hard time, and started crying a bit after my dad passed. And they were very understanding and kind to me.

Lilly & family are the OG nail techs in Snyder, we are lucky to have this gem! Every time it's perfection with a smile at a fair price. They are always open to the latest trend I saw on Pinterest, and kindly responsive to feedback if you want a nail trimmed a bit more, don't like the color you already chose, etc. They have a small staff so be sure to make an appointment if you can.
