I asked flora for 2 inches off the top of about 8 inches of a long undercut and to buzz the sides; she proceeded to give me a weird uneven buzzcut and then explain you have such nice curly hair when you take care of it and asked if i wanted it shorter after cutting it down to maybe 3 inches in the front and buzzed on the back (i can only assume she thinks men shouldn’t have long hair as my hair is very well cared for). I had had hair down to the nape of my neck before she started, I have to keep it long as it stands straight up and is unmanageable at short lengths…. It now stands straight up, her solution was to grease it. Offensive person that does not understand their job and cannot follow basic directions. Attempted to come by to speak to a manager and learned they don’t follow their o
I had Katie and she was great! Why can’t beauty salons have the same shampoo stations as sports clips? They are so comfortable! The mvp package is worth it imo and the cost is still less than if I were to go to a salon. As a low maintenance gal I recently chose to chop all my hair off and it’s nice going into a place that doesn’t reek of chemicals and there’s no drama. I don't even like sports lol! Edit: Visited again recently. Brought my teenage kiddo who is trans male and has autism. He’s very particular about how he wants his hair cut, and sometimes doesn’t know how to explain what he wants. So between the struggle of communicating with autism and the stylists having to do their best to understand and execute the attempt, it’s very hit-and-miss with every haircut. Especially when you
Arrived on Sunday just before 10am. At 10am no one had arrived to open the store. By 10:05am (the earliest you can join the queue” the store still hadn’t been opened. There was no temporary signage indicating a change in the posted hours. By the time I made it to the Eagan franchise (approx. 15 minutes later) the store still hadn’t been opened as indicated by the queue being unavailable still. This isn’t the first time I’ve been disappointed by the lack of professionalism and punctuality by the staff of the West St. Paul store but it will be the last. I will be driving the extra 10 minutes to give my business to the competing franchise.
This was my first time coming to this location. Went in and was stared at instead of greeted by one of the stylists. Very uncomfortable. She finally said welcome and was rude when she found out I didn't shedule an appointment online, which I didn't know you could do. She pointed at the computer and said sign up there and walked away. She was incredibly unfriendly. The haircut itself was quite the experience. My neck got a good workout trying to keep my head still as she roughly bashed my head with the clippers for about 5 minutes. As if that wasn't bad enough she chewed her gun loudly as she did it. She also complained about the management as she was talking to the other stylist while cutting my hair. A very bad experience over all. I will not be going back.
“Sports Clips delivered an excellent experience. The staff was professional, the service was prompt, and the quality of their work truly stood out. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and it shows. Highly recommended. Thank you.”
