Very nice and comfortable establishments. I love my hair and received many compliments. The owner is very knowledgeable and patient. Gentle is an understatement. She explaining everything she’s doing to your hair. Definitely worth the trip from New Jersey. My next appointment scheduled and looking forward.

I went to Spruce It Up Salon a few months ago for the first time and had a great experience. My stylist Lesia was very patient and listened to my concerns. She has experience in haircare education and is knowledgeable about hair, so I felt secure in asking many questions... and I mean many lol. I am a curly natural who likes to straighten, and do the occasional braid or twist, so it's important that I go to a salon who's well-versed in multiple things. I also had some scalp and hair fall concerns, which Lesia attempted to understand. We discussed what it could potentially be, and she even went so far as to check in with me following my appointment (since I said I was going to go to the dermatologist.) This salon was very clean and the hair stylist, Lesia, was super friendly and professional. She gave me what I wanted and so much more. The highlights are EVERYTHING. I'm so happy that she was highly recommended by 2 different people; Lesia definitely did not disappoint. I can't wait to be back for another transformation!! Its always a professional experience when I have an appointment to get my done. The owner is great and knows exactly what she's doing. I've been going to other stylist before. Lesia, is the most trustworthy, knowledgable stylist. From the very first appointment, she takes her time and carefully surveys your hair, and asks you what do you need, what are you expecting. You will get real honest expectations and advice as to which behaviors you have, that may be contributing to your hair not growing. My hair has never flourished some much until I started coming to this salon/Lesia, from my loose hair to me now having locs! I will not go anywhere else , I travel all the way from Brooklyn!
