Star Nails

I never, ever leave a bad review. Ever. However, I’m hoping to save someone time and money. The lady who did my nails was extremely ill tempered and unprofessional. The request for my nails was simple. Long, solid black stilettos. What I always get. She raised her voice at me over dip powder, or regular acrylic. Me being non confrontational I just said do whatever is easiest for you. I left that salon down $65 bucks with the lumpiest, most crooked, unclean set I have ever had. I bawled my eyes out. I couldn’t even leave a tip they were so horrible and the pics don’t do them justice. I drove for ten minutes to the nearest salon which was Four Seasons Nails and Spa. Lee the nail tech at the second place straightened up the leaning tower(s) of nails, shaped them beautifully and repainte

I hardly ever leave a bad review but DO NOT GO HERE. Ever. I usually visit Star nails in Arden which is awesome & normally does a amazing job but this one clearly isn’t anything like it. My request for my nails was simple. Dip powder on my real nails and square. These are the lumpiest, most crooked, non square, unclean set I have ever had. I am so irritated at home horrible she did. The pics don’t do them justice.

I have been coming on a regular basis to Star Nails in Hendersonville for several years now and I have always had great service. I typically ask for ‘Sugar’ but all the technicians are excellent. It’s a small group of women who have worked together for years and they are all so friendly. Very much a family feel at this salon - I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I payed 55 for this.. I got done the first week of April. The first picture is today June 21. Still healing. Never come here for dip nail. I payed 55 for cut cuticles, which she ( most likely the owner) blamed my skin being dry not her realizing she was cutting me with the electric nail file, which she damaged my nails as well. I payed 55 dollars for her getting up 3 separate times. Which I should have just got up and left. When she realized I did not like how she left my nails at the end she upcharged me. I get dip nail at other places for 40. Paying 15 dollars extra for hurt critical and damaged nails where she filed deeply and blamed my skin for being dry. Haha. Never again will they take my money.

Went here for the first time today, 3/8/2025 and I am SO happy I made that decision! I got a gel pedicure and a full set with gel polish. I came in with a picture and an idea in mind and they delivered! I am beyond pleased with both the pedicure and the manicure. Both nail tech ate and left NO crumbs!
