I’ve been seeing Sabrina at Stardust Salon for a couple of years now, so this review is long overdue. A little backstory: my mom is a retired hairdresser, so for the first three decades of my life it felt like I was basically homeschooled in the hair department. Because of that, I’m not exactly skilled at articulating how I want my hair cut or colored—you kind of just “get what you get” when your mom is your stylist. Sabrina really takes the time at every appointment to understand what I’m hoping for with my haircut and color. She foils me up and gives me the best babylighted highlight/lowlight that has me reaping in the compliments. I LOVE this salon! Sabrina is my stylist and she does 10/10 work every time. The vibes are immaculate, beverage offerings are amazing, and I love that they do vinyl Fridays. I always enjoy the puzzle in the waiting area(I intentionally arrive 10 minutes early just to get my puzzle fix in). Sabrina is hilarious and talented, you’ll always leave happy with her! But truly, all the stylists there do stellar work, you can’t go wrong with any of them. With an inclusive, welcoming, and visually fascinating space, it’s the best place for your hair and nails!

Stardust has the BEST vibe! You immediately feel a sense of unapologetic quirky individuality. And these days, it's so rare to find a business that seems to be as passionately loyal to its customers as it's customers are to it. I really appreciate the flat rate pricing, too...that tells me they are protective and support those who work there. I will never go anywhere else! Well, that's also because SABRINA is a sorceress with my hair! I can just show her a style and share what I like about it. Somehow she always turns my fine wimpy hair into a masterpiece. That is her magic...she seems to love the challenge of customizing each cut just for me. She knows how to improve the texture, tame the crazy, and coax the perfect curls. There aren’t enough stars to represent the radness that is Stardust. The salon is a beautiful, welcoming space and the team is always professional and friendly. Sabrina has been cutting and coloring my hair for 2 years now, and whether I’m leaving with blonde balayage or copper (yes she does it all) I’m leaving with perfect hair every time I walk out the door. She also cuts my 14 year old teenager’s hair and has the patience of several saints with all his special requests. 10 out of 10 stars overall. ✨

Stardust is my favorite salon in tomorrow. It's a cool, welcoming space whose large windows and plants give the space a lot of light and color. The hairstylists are all incredible, with a set of diverse skills to meet any hairstyling need. They regularly hold seminars on new styling techniques, and their Galentine's parties are the stuff of Olympia legend. The icing on this incredible cake is their unflinching commitment to progressive values, making this a safe space for queer and BIPOC folks of all stripes. It's a place I feel good spending my money.
