Stay True Barber

I booked with Stay True after my last barber closed up and was a little nervous at first. However, I ended up with the best haircut I think I’ve ever had. Shop is small but very nice and the barbers are professional and friendly. Definitely making Stay True my regular barber.

Amazing vibes right when you walk in and especially the wood art that's hung up sadly the guy that made the wood art wasn't there (he works there). My haircut looks amazing and was well worth the price, and even better, he didn't take very long on my hair, and I had a lot to cut off.

Awesome place to get a hair cut! I showed Joel (the barber) a picture of what I wanted and he did an excellent job of interpreting what I was looking for and executed it flawlessly. Kept up good conversation the whole time too. Will definitely be back, probably with my kids. ----- Update - July 2022: Still an amazing place to get your haircut! Joel takes his time and does a great job. He does an awesome job with my boys too (ages 8 & 10). He'll hold a conversation with you and will get to know you over time. Definitely a place worth going to!

Best barbershop in Albuquerque! Joel and his barber staff are all excellent. All of them are very personable and professional. I've never once left disappointed. Joel has been my barber the entire time I have lived in New Mexico, and he has been on point every single time. He is also an artist, so it is very neat and unique to have your hair cut by an actual artist. The other barbers that work there are just as equally talented, and I have not seen or heard of any upset customers.
