Stella Dominican hair salon

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this salon, which claims to specialize in textured hair. As a Dominican salon, I expected knowledge, professionalism, and respect—especially when working with a child. I brought my 12-year-old daughter in, and instead of being treated with care, she was humiliated. The owner and her daughter repeatedly commented that her hair was “too curly” to be put in rollers for a dryer set, saying it couldn’t be done. This is completely false, as we have gone to other Dominican salons for years that successfully do roller sets on curly, textured hair. Despite my requests, they proceeded to blow-dry her hair straight while it was soaking wet, which caused visible heat damage. Throughout this, they continued to dismiss my concerns and made my daughter

Walked in, was immediately greeted with smiles and great customer service while there. Stella did an amazing job cutting and styling my hair! Will definitely be back.
