Sherri does a terrific job cutting, styling and coloring hair of all lengths and styles. I always enjoy going to her shop and chatting while she does my hair. She is reliable, consistent and professional. Her shop is in a very good location, too. Easy to park. I recommend her. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing experience with Sherri! She cut my hair and I had such a wonderful experience that I booked her to help me with some corrective coloring. Her work was great both times and she’s obviously a master at her craft. The space is cool and Sherri and the two barbers who work there are all very nice. Can’t recommend them enough!

What can I say? An absolute gem of a hair studio. The rustic ambiance draws you into a human experience: you are NOT a number here. I get my hair cut by Daniel B and I couldn’t recommend him more to young professionals in Bloomington Normal. When I leave Strand Studio, I look great and feel great. I always leave thoroughly encouraged by the conversations and the fair prices. 5/5 stars without any hesitation.

My experience with Strand Studio Barbershop was beyond disappointing and frankly unprofessional from start to finish. After trying to schedule an appointment via phone for several weeks, where my calls consistently went unanswered and straight to voicemail, I finally left a message requesting an appointment. Upon receiving no response, I decided to walk in. The receptionist greeted me with an attitude as if I had committed a crime by showing up unannounced. She proceeded to chastise me for leaving a supposedly "rude" voicemail, which was nothing more than a polite request for a haircut appointment. Despite their lack of responsiveness and unprofessional demeanor, I decided to give them a chance and proceeded with the haircut. To my dismay, the barber seemed disinterested and did not pay
