Styles International Salon

First time going here. Hadn't been to a stylist for awhile so definitely needed an upgrade. Found a Groupon for a cut, partial highlights and blowdry, so decided to use it. Salon is cute and inviting. Erica was my stylist and she is very professional. She is a great communicator, listens well, gave good options for my haircolor and color correction. I did go over my Groupon price a bit because I asked for additional services. But, that was expected; and Erica informed me of the additional costs beforehand. So it was all good. Enjoyed my experience at Styles and my hair looks great!

I purchased a Groupon for a full head of highlights, but when I arrived, I was told I “needed” a balayage added. I was never given a price for this change even when I asked, yet it was added to my bill without my consent. I also paid for long layers and a blowout. In total, I was charged over $325, which makes absolutely no sense given the service I received. I was in the salon from 12:50 PM to 6:45 PM, and despite the long wait, the results were nothing like what I asked for. My color had to be corrected multiple times, and even then, it still wasn’t right. The staff seemed unconcerned about my time or needs, yet they were very attentive to other clients who needed to leave on schedule. It felt like my appointment was treated as an afterthought. I’m honestly shocked by how the owner responds to reviews here. Even if some of the comments seem fake or unfair, the tone and attitude in those replies are completely unprofessional. Instead of calmly addressing concerns or ignoring obvious fake reviews, the owner goes on the attack — insulting people, calling them liars, and making it personal. It’s concerning to see that kind of anger and defensiveness from someone running a customer-facing business. A professional owner should know how to handle criticism, not lash out at anyone who says something they don’t like. It makes me question how they treat customers in person if this is how they behave online for everyone to see. Also, saying that “no one reads reviews anyway” is ironic, since clearly people do — that’s how most of us decide

I had gone to this location couple years ago and got the worst haircut ever, but I decided recently to give them another chance and I absolutely love my haircut by the owner, super nice and friendly and gave exactly what I asked for. I got so much compliments for my hair that I am referring to people there . definitely go to the salon for amazing haircuts. We’ll definitely go back for my future haircuts.!!

I had my hair colored, trimmed and styled in the by the amazing hairdresser, Lindsey (with an E). She was incredibly patient and accommodating, especially since I cover my hair. Lindsey clearly knew her craft and took great care to ensure my hair wouldn’t become damaged, particularly since I was lightning/bleaching certain sections. She consistently checked on my progress and was both kind and attentive throughout the process. I highly recommend the salon; the owner was friendly, and the atmosphere was very chic.
