I would not recommend Maggie based on my most recent experience. I’ve been a client for about two years, which makes this situation especially disappointing. During my consultation, I showed a Pinterest photo and was told it was achievable. At no point during the consultation was I told that my hair would not be able to reach that result. That information was only shared after my hair had already been dyed and while it was being washed at the bowl, when it was too late to make a different decision. The final result came out very warm and yellow on the ends, with an uneven, ombre-like effect that I did not ask for. I love this salon and love Jamie! She is my go to hairstylist! She has not only cut my hair but has also colored and styled it! She has also cut both of my girls hair and does an amazing job! I will never go to anyone else as long as she is doing hair! If I could give her more than 5 stars I definitely would!

I cannot recommend Amy enough! I went to Amy because I have wavy/curly hair and I've never really known how to style it (can't tell you how many curly hair routines I've tried/watched), nor have I had a good haircut for my hair type. She was phenomenal! Most of the time, it feels like hairdressers are trying to get you out the door as quickly as possible, but that wasn't the case with Amy. She took the time to talk to me about my hair struggles and really get to the root of what I wanted. She talked me through what she was thinking and showed me some pictures. After cutting my hair, she walked me through how to style it and which products I should use. She showed me how she styled it and answered all my questions on recommended products, diffusing, etc. My haircut turned out great! I lo

I see Jamie at Sugarhouse Parlour, and she is the best! I have weird curly hair (curlier in some places than others) and Jamie works hard to make sure it always look great. We also dye my hair teal (don't judge, I want to be a weird old lady), and she does an amazing job! Cutting curly hair is not easy, but Jamie does a great job, wet or dry. Go see Jamie! You won't regret it.

Laura at Sugarhouse Parlour is amazing! She did my daughter’s hair today and it turned out so beautiful. The space is stylish, calm, and welcoming. Highly recommend—ask for Laura!
