I had high hopes as I was looking to silk press my daughter’s hair with minimum amount of heat. I did watch them inly pass the straightener through her hair once but my daughter’s hair will no longer curl back up after a deep condition. Also when asking for a trim they just cut across the bottom instead of giving a full trim. This studio does not care for hair for the textured girls. I am so sad and i have no idea how to salvage my daughter’s curls.

I’m really disappointed with my experience today. I called earlier in the day to ask if they accepted walk-ins for a silk press, and I was told yes. No one mentioned a specific time that I needed to arrive by. When I showed up around 4:00 (and the door says they close at 6:00), the door was locked. There was a lady with red hair inside who told me through the door that they were closed. I was confused because it was well before their posted closing time. I asked if she could come to the door to explain, but she continued speaking to me through the glass and didn’t take the time to properly acknowledge me. As a potential new client, that felt very unprofessional and dismissive. If there was a cutoff time for walk-ins, that should have been communicated when I called. I understand salons g

Best Dominican salon I’ve been to and I’ve tried three before this one. My hair is still healthy and strong after this silk press. My hair is really coarse and thick. This is the silkiest I’ve ever seen my hair ever, I didn’t even think it was possible for me. Theirs a before and after. Sulky colored my hair twice just to make sure it came out the way I wanted even though I told her she didn’t need to. I can’t wait to go back.

I didn’t catch the lady who did my hairs name but I will be visiting again. Super sweet and a great experience overall. Of course a walk in is going to take a while but these ladies were knocking out clients at a timely manner in my opinion. Got there at 11am but got a Dominican blow out & straighten and trim, left around 4pm. I have 4c hair and honestly haven’t gotten my hair professionally done in 3 years & I am so happy with my results. If you plan on walking in, plan on having an empty schedule for the rest of the day. Give these ladies some grace 💕

I had the most phenomenal experience here. Not only did Lilane take my 11 yr old daughter as a walk in the day of a wedding we had to attend, she did an absolutely phenomenal job on her blowout. This is the first time hee has stayed this straight! Not even a silk press has lasted this long I've done Dominican blowout for her before but Lilane at this salon did the best job ever!!! Thank you so so much I will definitely be back
