I’d been waiting to come here since it opened, and finally made it in—and it was worth the wait. Alexis is my hair goddess. She understands exactly what I want, translates it into what I actually mean, and still makes it look even better. Truly an artist. The salon itself is welcoming and stylish with modern décor and comfy seating. I was greeted with a drink (tea, coffee, or water) and given a robe to protect my clothes, which set the tone right away. Parking can be tricky: the spots directly outside are limited to two hours, and after 6 p.m. you need a pass. Street parking is metered and hard to find, but I had luck across the road on a side street with no restrictions aside from street sweeping days. I cannot say enough good things about Anna! From the moment you step into Suna Atelier, you’re instantly transported—it’s so relaxing and vibey, you feel like you’re on vacation. Anna is incredibly attentive and provides a rare one-on-one experience, which is so hard to find these days. Unlike most salons that double or triple book clients and leave you feeling rushed, at Suna, I felt completely pampered and truly valued throughout my entire visit. I have been seeing Alexis for over five years and she is not only an incredible artist but a wonderful person. I am thrilled she finally found a space alongside Anna. Alexis is the best blond expert in Los Angeles and she has a too notch team. Excellent vibes from excellent humans. If you have the chance, you must go!

I’ve been seeing Katie since moving to LA 6 years ago. I would follow her anywhere, but am so happy to be seeing her in the gorgeous space they’ve curated at Suna Atelier! Katie does the most beautiful color and cuts to perfection every time. She has taken me through so many variations of blonde now and I have loved every single one! You can tell how much care and intention she puts into every part of her process, down to the shampoo. On top of her talent, she is just the kindest person ever, and I look forward to every appointment with her!

I travel from out of state and Katie is definitely worth it! She is such a talented and skilled stylist as well as a beautiful human being. She goes above and beyond to give you exactly want you want whether it’s color or cut. The atmosphere of the salon is also awesome. I always feel so comfortable. It’s basically like getting the hair of my dreams while being surrounded by friends. I’m so happy I found this salon and Katie. I couldn’t be any happier.
