Sunset Salon

I went there for a haircut while I was staying at the Koa nearby. Very happy with the result. Teresa has a lot of experience and she quickly understood the cut I wanted. And on top of this, she is a very happy and smiling lady. Had a good time.

Terese is great! Not only is she incredibly gifted as a beautician, she is a delight to talk to! I was new to the area and she put me at total ease and even mentioned some cool things to see and do in the area. Also quite reasonable cost wise.

I called and left a message asking for a guy's haircut, telling Tere that I was from out of town, I had never been to her salon. She texted quickly and fit me in to her schedule 3 hours later. I arrived early; lucky me. I sat and listened to great island stories and banter with the previous customer; the fun continued with me in the chair. As others have stated, Tere is a skilled professional, and she loves her job. Very personable, she had me laughing the minute I walked in. Great haircut...professional and entertaining, Tere made my day. Very nice and clean salon. 6 Stars out of 5!

We booked a double pedicure on Saturday of our trip. The soonest we could get in was Wednesday. We scheduled our trip itinerary around this visit. On Wednesday (today), I’ve been getting a series of text messages saying I need to come early. If I can’t come early, then we are cancelling bc she has other people to see. We had an appointment at 3p and she scheduled other people during our time. Needless to say, we didn’t go early bc we have a bad taste in our mouth.

Sunset Salon is a great little salon in Rodanthe. Terese the stylist does a great job cutting both women's and men's hair. It's normally booked out, so call in advance.
