Porscha did an amazing job! She was gentle on my scalp, patient, and explained every step of the process. I’ll definitely book with her again. The only downside is the use of synthetic hair for the boho pieces. I’m concerned about them tangling and possibly not lasting very long. I’ll most likely will bring my own human hair next time.

I am a 2nd time Swella Braid Bar Atlanta customer... the first experience was great, so I returned. I am very particular about who/what I patronize and who touches my hair. Swella has such a nice vibe. I love that they provide the hair. All I need to do is show up and leave pretty! Great personable employees. I booked takedown service for my previous braid install, as well as upgraded my complimentary shampoo service to include a deep condition and trim, followed by my "smedium" boho braid install. My braider, Fanta, was AMAZING. Great spirit and exceptional braider. We are locked in now...I will request her going forward. Thanks Swella for a safe, clean, and accommodating salon experience. My first experience at Swella felt luxurious and the stylists are perfectionist professionals. I got so many compliments on my large braids, and most of all, I love them! Kayla was my stylist, and she is the sweetest and made sure she got everything right by confirming, suggesting, and asking questions along the way. I appreciated the attention to detail. I had a lovely experience at Swella Atlanta and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing environment with a lovely aesthetic. They were on-time and took such care of my hair and tender scalp. I received a complimentary wash and blow out prior to my service with Sanniah. She worked quickly but was very thorough. I was able to work during most of my service which made the time go by fast. I have natural 3B curls coming in a little more than shoulder length when blown out. I was amazed that she was able to complete everything within (5) hours! I will definitely be back!

My experience definitely lived up to the hype! So professional and all the staff went above and beyond. I also love everything about my hair. Would absolutely go back again!
