Syd's is amazing! My stylist was Cinnamon and she did a fantastic job. She is incredibly knowledgeable and was very helpful in answering my questions about best practices for hair care. I hadn't cut my hair in many years and my hair had a lot of split ends + breakage. She really listened to what I was looking for and did a lovely job with my cut & style. I'm so pleased with my new haircut - thank you, Cinnamon and Syd's!

Great place!!! I got my hair cut by Josh and he gave me exactly what I envisioned. He made sure to communicate every step of the haircut and also checked in to make sure I was content with what he was doing. He’s super friendly and detail-oriented!! I left feeling more confident about my appearance and lots of gender euphoria :) Will definitely be coming back!

Grew my hair down to my shoulders from a buzzcut so I needed a haircut bad but I’ve had bad cuts in the past and have grown attached to my longer hair so I was low-key nervous to cut it. Josh however was so patient and genuinely cared about what I wanted my hair to look like. He then gave me one of if not the best haircut I’ve ever had, explaining everything he was doing as he went. He’s also just a really chill cool guy that’s fun to talk to and watch work. Excited for my next haircut :)

I went to Syds for the first time yesterday and saw Josh! I’m non-binary/trans masc and he did an absolutely incredible job on my short cut. He was kind and made sure he completely understood what I wanted before he started cutting. He asked me questions and let me be an active participant in what was happening with my hair. This was the first time I’ve ever left after a short cut feeling like I wanted to go out instead of going home for a shower immediately. He did some incredible magic layering to bring out my natural waves and work with my cowlicks. I feel so happy with my cut! Thank you Josh!

What an awesome experience! I've only every had my hair professionally cut a handful of times, most of the time I just keep it long and cut it straight across. I have been wanting to go short again after many years but wasn't quite ready to commit to another pixie cut. I also have super thick Asian hair, and was afraid that a short cut would leave my hair unmanageable and bulky. Ashley did an amazing job listening to what I wanted and I even showed her a bunch of pictures of some of the older hairstyles I had. She gave me an awesome undercut and a super cute bob that's perfect for a lower maintenance person like me. My head feels so much lighter than it did before and I'm in love with my haircut.
