I went tonight and my nails look crooked. Over 1 hour and 20 min commute and this lady spent a second time correcting them and now I plan to not go back. Very Dissapointed. This lady wasted more time asking me about my job, salary and boyfriend instead of focusing on her job. I have some advice for you. Mind your own business and do your job! As a business, do not curse it is tacky and be nosy. Learn to be polite. The nails look unevenly filed, chunky and not almomd shaped. Also missed a few edges which make it look unfinished and chipped. I came all the way from up north to get my nails done tonight and there is no way in hell I would come back, this lady, Christine or Christina whatever the hell her name is…. did a rushed job.
Symbelle is the best spa in NYC. All the staff are friendly, professional and focus on detail. I’ve never had a bad experience. They also give the best back massages. I highly recommend Symbelle. You will not be disappointed.
For 150$ I could’ve gotten a longer, neater, and better set. She also cut two of my cuticles, will not be coming back and most certainly wouldn’t recommend anyone here Update: it hasn’t even been a full two weeks yet and I’ve already lost 6 nails. I don’t do anything in my life that would cause them to fall out this quickly, usually whenever I get my nails done they’ll last me 3 weeks+. Just keep that in mind.
Paid $140 for my nails to start popping off the next day. She definitely skipped steps and the shape didn't look good. I just gave up saying something because at that point I just needed a whole new set and I wasn't getting it here. Also confused when I booked it was $85 and I walked out paying $140.
I was disappointed with my experience today. I felt like my manicure was rushed and steps were skipped just to get me in and out of the salon. The extensions and shape are crooked and oddly shaped. There is no arch or apex to the nail, they filed it down so it’s more of a pancake. Full disclosure, I was a walk in. But I still paid full price plus tip which was over $100 and I feel like I should get a good outcome or else they should not take walk ins.
