Wonderful experience. Jen is a wonderful beautician, well experienced in providing different services. The salon is neat and organized and the staff is amazing.

I had bought hair with intentions on going elsewhere for an install but saw a young woman at the door preparing to install a wig and I thought her hair was nicely put together so I decided to return for an install the following weekend. The shampoo & cond. that was used to wash my hair was of zero benefit to my hair you could tell it was the cheapest product to use and my hair was patted dry with an old soiled towel ( please invest in new towels) and my hair still felt unclean. The same young lady that shampooed was also responsible for prepping my sew in with the cornrow process. The cornrows were so loose and awfully done that I could’ve done it myself and I can’t cornrow! Jen did the sew in and she was quick but the work was below mediocre. It was not a flat install!!! It was very bulky

I was able to get a same-day appointment. The receptionist was extremely helpful and the young lady that did my hair went above and beyond. There was a certain haircare product that I use, but they didn't have it and the young lady left the salon to go grab it from a store. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone that's looking for a salon that specializes in ethnic hair. The young lady that did my lace frontal install name was Jen.

The shop has an overall great atmosphere but I didn't have the best experience. Beatrice did my hair and she was a very very sweet woman. Although.. I didn't leave the salon satisfied. Her flat iron was literally burning my hair. She was combing from root to to ends instead of the other way. I just felt the breakage. She didn't put on any great protection or made sure my hair was moisturized. I had to request the protectant. I legit stopped her and just said I'll do the rest at home since her flat iron was just smoking the entire time. Do it on my sew in but not my regular hair!! I left pissed with my hair smelling like HEAT and not with a nice smell like you should when you leave the salon. Although, like i said, the overall environment was cute. I am so happy that I found Tease Salon through Google reviews. I didn't know anyone who had been to the salon, but took a chance on the place as I was desperate to get my hair done. Since my first appointment, I have been on their books with a weekly standing appointment. Alma, my stylist, is timely, professional, and talented. She does an excellent silk press on natural hair. The front desk receptionist, the owner, runs the shop very well. Most importantly, booking appointments is easy! Women (black women especially) in the area that are looking for a decent hair salon can feel comfortable trusting the stylists at Tease.
