I had high hopes for this salon, but was greatly disappointed. The stylist was overbooked and left me in the hands of the receptionist!shampoo lady. The shampoo lady was very nice, but inexperienced. I had my hair washed and conditioned to 45 minutes!! I felt like I was being water boarded. There was no apology for the delay and it took her less than 10 minutes to cut my hair and I believe I was overcharged. Needless to say, this is not how you should treat someone who is a first time customer. I won't be back and would not recommend. My friend, who has shoulder length hair, got a silk press and curl whixh came out beautiful. Her stylist, Chanel, did an excellent job and showed true customer service. She was happy with her hair..... I was not!! Never again.

I came to get curl enhancements, which turned out beautifully. I mentioned to my stylist that I wanted color but there was no availability for that, however she stated she could accommodate me. I asked for blonde. She explained that she also needed to color the base of my hair my natural color - I said ok, but still don’t understand why that is necessary if I’m only wanting heavy highlights). I think it was so it would look better as it grows out. I ended up with black haïr not blonde. I can send a pic if you would like. As much as I am thrilled about the way she did the natural curl enhancements, which is much better looking than the roller set, there is not blonde. I did a same-day appointment for a silk press after taking out my braids yesterday and Amanda did an awesome job. The shop is centrally located and very nice atmosphere and my hair looks amazing. She has been in business for years and has loyal clients who were also receiving services. Great experience

Love my silk press and color change its so soft and she really got my color right! Whatever treatment she did got my 4c hair falling off the bone (silky)

I have been coming to this salon for a couple of years now with no issues but unfortunately I have had such a bad experience that I have to leave a review. I came in for a silk press but changed my mind to a blow out and trim because of upcoming bad weather. The detangling process post wash was absolutely awful. I came in with my hair fully detangled and in twists but the washing process completely tangled and matted my hair. The stylist (not my main stylist btw) was ripping through my hair so much I could hear it snap, and I watched small pieces land on me. I believe this terrible detangling session was due to how my hair was washed: out of twists and rather aggressively. I have never had such tangling issues when I wash my hair on my own.
