The Barbershop A Hair Salon For Men - Joplin

On1-3-26 I walked in at 830am for a scheduled appt. At 830am. I check in and notice my barber finishing up someone else in the back. When she comes up she's grabs someone else supposedly infront of me? An additional 30 minutes go by before I sit in the chair, I should have seen the writing in the wall. After discussing how I'd like my hair and showing some pictures of previous hairstyles I'd liked. My barber then proceed to mock, comment and shame my head for its "rebellious and awkward" parts. Completely uncalled for. She then proceed to butcher my hair. Slop some mess of shampoo on there and overall rush me out however this process took almost 2 hours! Just for a BAD HAIRCUT. I'd give negative stars if I could and I will not be returning.

Went in for a trim and they wanted $28.00. They act like their sorry but they said, "well we give you a massage as well". If I wanted a massage I'd go to a massage parlor and if I wanted to be conned I'll go to a car lot. When businesses start price gouging while people are not getting a cost of living raise or more money is being taken out of checks I hope they fall on their faces!

I can honestly say Elisa is the best Barber I have had cut my hair! She is very friendly and highly skilled! A+++

I used to love bringing my husband here...now, not so much. Can't even understand the music as we are not Hispanic. This is what we mean when we say they should acclimate...I don't get to listen to Nine Inch Nails at my job...listen to your music in your personal space....also, you probably shouldn't sing along unless you're good at it. This was a very uncomfortable experience.

They are the best place in town to get a haircut. I will go nowhere else. I have had almost everyone here cut my hair and they are all amazing. If she is available, see Elisa. They are all great but Elisa is consistently perfect at cutting my hair. Regardless if I show her a picture or just explain it. She is thorough and doesn’t rush. Couldn’t recommend her more highly. Book ahead of possible, especially is you use Elisa. She is busy for a reason. Regardless, this is the spot in Joplin.
