I had such a great experience! My hair was definitely a challenge when I walked in, but Amanda completely transformed it. She took her time, listened to what I wanted, and somehow made my hair look better than I imagined. I left feeling confident and so happy with the result. Highly recommend, she truly has magic hands!

I had the most wonderful experience with The Basement team for my wedding glam! From the moment they arrived on-site at our venue, Amanda, Jocelyn, and Andrea brought such calm, positive, and professional energy. They worked seamlessly together and made the entire process so enjoyable for me and my bridal party. Amanda (the owner) set the tone with her organization and warmth, and Jocelyn and Andrea were absolutely incredible with both hair and makeup. They listened to every request, made thoughtful suggestions, and were so patient and kind throughout the entire morning. Everyone looked stunning, and our glam lasted beautifully all day and night — even through happy tears, dancing, and the desert weather! I felt so confident and so taken care of, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a bet

I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel I need to recommend this business given the excellent service. I visited The Basement Salon on Dec 4 for a haircut while my family and I were in the Palm Desert area for a week, and I was glad to have found this salon. The owner and senior stylist, Amanda, is a true professional. She is so warm, friendly, and makes you feel at ease. Amanda specializes in all tools, particularly scissor trim and natural finish. She was detail-oriented and took the time to review my reference photos for the desired hairstyle. During the appointment, Amanda paid meticulous attention to all the details to ensure a satisfactory experience. I highly recommend Amanda and The Bvsement and look forward to returning next time I am in Palm Desert.

Natalie your Amazing!! I truly recommend this hair salon. I came to a medical conference and since I have not pampered myself for over 1yr I decided last min cut. Omg!! felt like spa day for me. The ladies do take care of you from taking last min walk-ins, washing, cutting and blowout. FYI came down from Downtown LA. Happy Holidays!! In love with my new look!! Love, love love it!!

Amanda is amazing! She’s truly the best when it comes to cut, color, and style. I have super curly hair, and her blowouts always leave it so smooth with the perfect amount of volume, and it lasts for days! She’s also great at helping me figure out the best look when I’m feeling indecisive, and she always works around my busy schedule. The salon itself is gorgeous, and the shampoo experience was super relaxing, I felt like I was at a spa. Highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a stylist who really listens and delivers every time.
