The Bearded Owl Barbershop

Walked in sat down for maybe 5 mins. Then a young man walks in from the back asking if I was Jeffery. I said no sir. He said I can’t take you today I only do appointments. I said why does your sign say walk ins welcome. I’ll take my money else where.

This is a great place. I’ve always gotten really good haircuts. John the barber always gets me right. Also has good conversation and he’s a funny guy and super easy to get along with.

This is a hidden gem on coast, 100%. I’ve struggled to find both an affordable and talent barber, but the bearded owl checked both boxes. John the Barber gave me one of the most memorable and favorite haircuts I’ve had in years - the crazy part is, he was done very quickly and efficiently and it was beyond easy. The overall vibe is the shop is supper chill and he gives a killer haircut.

Destiny has been cutting my son’s and my hair for 5 years now. I was excited to hear that she has since started at a legit Barbershop. She does an amazing job and isn’t just about the numbers she can get in her chair (unlike most franchise salons). The shop, if I could give it 10 stars I would. Awesome atmosphere in a great location. Just know that they are cash only but they do have an ATM inside. Very reasonably priced for the services they provide.

Josh was quiet but I had no problem with that. I'm not big on all the small talk so the peace was appreciated. He took his time, made a few passes ensuring he was happy with his work and I liked the outcome so I will be back.
