The Beauty Room

I so badly want to gatekeep this place. But I won’t… After falling victim to the worst haircut of my life, I was extremely hesitant to trust anyone else with my hair. Especially after growing it out from a flowbee (look it up) Kate Gosselin for 5 months. Matt was wonderful and hilarious, which was a treat on its own. But he also surpassed my expectations of my hair looking “just decent”. It actually looks cute for the first time in a very long time. We are on an optimistic journey toward a full hair recovery. Finding a stylist is similar to finding a therapist. You don’t want to leave feeling like you need even MORE therapy than when you arrived. They’re stuck with me now. Emily surpassed expectations on my hair with a fantastic, well thought out color correction - so happy with my end result. Added photos of the blended “after” she gave me. A gorgeous salon filled with giant green plants! I was greeted warmly, offered tea and complimented on my haircut. I love going to the Beauty Room.

This review has been a long coming. I've gone to the Beauty Room for 12 years now to have my hair colored by Mi Shaun. She fixed my orange hair from years of bad coloring and has always been realistic with my hair goals. She is the best of the best when it comes to blonde hair. Another shout-out goes to Vanessa who has cut my hair for years. She is fantastic at communicating what she thinks would be best based on my requests. The Beauty Room is a beautiful space with great product lines too!

Quaint quiet peaceful and well-appointed salon where my wife and I go for haircuts. AAA+++
