The Cape Salon

Made an appointment to get my roots touched up on Saturday (6/14) at 12. The stylist was running behind and the salon texted me, asking if they could change my appointment time to 12:30. I was fine with that, so agreed. That is when everything went downhill. I was in the salon from 12:30pm to almost 7pm. I had shown Zule (my stylist) pictures of how I wanted my hair to look and told her in words that I wanted just my outgrown roots to be touched up to match the rest of my hair color. At first she lightened my roots and it seemed fine but after she finished rinsing my hair, my whole head was a different color, which was not what I asked for. Another stylist had to constantly help Zule throughout the process of my hair, which gave me the impression that Zule did not know what she was doing.

Yesterday I felt adventurous! I decided to try a new salon and get quite an extreme hairstyle change. Karen was my stylist and boy is she great! She listened to everything I said and really executed the look that I wanted. I loved that she took her time with my hair and made sure not to rush the process while still checking on me every step of the way. I’ve attached photos of my before and after, bye bye long hair and hello to the most beautiful color and cut I’ve had in a long time! Thank you so much Karen! I will definitely come here from now on 😊

Cece is the BEST!!!! I have been going to a stylist forever but unfortunately she is far away and very $. I decided on a win to check out this salon because it is by my work and I’m so happy I did. Cece took so much time messaging me to see exactly what I wanted for my hair and she really worked with me for my price range. The salon is beautiful and the owner is super sweet. Cece took so much time making sure I was happy with my color and cut. Showing me multiple times to make sure I was happy with the cut. She even took extra time to put tinsel in my hair when I saw it in the salon. You know how you get your hair done and you say you love it but you go home and cry? Karen just joined the salon however I have been going to her for over a year now. She is worth following! Karen does an amazing job with my color- whether I want to be blonde or brunette (see brown pic). I have long straight hair and she is talented with cutting my hair as well. Karen colors/cuts my teen daughter (see blonde pic) and my teen boys. I’m so glad I found someone I can trust and be able to tell my friends about!

The cape salon is my new hair home! lol! I hadn’t trusted anyone to touch my hair since 2020 and Cece went above and beyond to bring my hair to the next level! I highly recommend! It’s a friendly, calming environment and the stylists are so talented and sweet! Jess, the owner is passionate about her business and really kind and professional!
