The Curl Conqueror

I went to The Curl Conqueror in Stone Mountain hoping to add shape and fullness to my fine, naturally curly hair. After a $60 consultation, I booked their Curl Conquering Method® ($350) with high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience fell short. They used unlabeled, heavy products that left my hair flat and overworked. The stylist cut 2 inches off evenly all around, but the result looked boxy and outdated—not the defined, light curls I’d hoped for. I voiced my disappointment, and while they waived the remaining balance, the damage was done. Once I got home and blow-dried my hair, I saw the cut was uneven too. My experience was excellent! I received a warm welcome; a tour of the space; was offered snacks and water; received a fragrance of choice towel; hair washing and scalp massage; steam treatment; hair cut and curl. I came in with heat damaged hair that was causing bad hair breakage and thinning. It was my first time getting a big chop and I was a bit nervous and uneasy. However Dajah made me feel comfortable and at ease. She explained everything from beginning to end. I really loved receiving at the end a Curl Conqueror certificate and treatment plan that was written for me to take home so that I know how to care for my hair to help promote growth. I will definitely continue to use the services offered at Curl Conqueror. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Courtney is AMAZING!! She has a positive, bubbly personality and makes you feel welcomed as soon as you enter. She took every precaution - face mask, temp check, shoe covers, face shield, hand washing, hand sanitizer, etc. - before, during, and after my appointment. This was my first time getting my hair done in FOREVER and a big chop at that. I booked the curly consultation and choppa style packages. She explained everything THOROUGHLY, made sure I was comfortable, and gave me advice/tips for my new hairdo. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND letting Courtney bless your hair.
