I read these reviews and almost cancelled my appointment. My experience was nothing like the other people that have left reviews. I booked with Dolo for Fulani braids and my hair turned out amazing. She literally considered ME when doing my hair. I have fine hair and when I asked her not to braid too tight, she immediately said okay. She also asked me about my preference for baby hairs. She did my hair the way I wanted her to. I will definitely book with her again. And in case anyone is wondering, I don’t have a ton of followers on social media. If you want braids, don’t let other reviews discourage you from booking with Dolo or going to your appointment.

Terrible customer service. The make up artist Lashay Glamz had me waiting for over an hour with no warning and then blamed me for her unprofessionalism without apologizing. Yet her site says you can’t be late 5 minutes but she expects you to wait 2 hours because she admittedly over books her clients. She is terribly unprofessional. Then her first text to me without even knowing me was “hey boo” which is extremely ghetto. I should have known it would be an issue when I booked and her website read like it was written by child just learning the alphabet. We have to stop dealing with subpar service from people just because they’re popular on social media. These stylist pick and choose who they want to do quality work on. Beware they will render your services poorly. My simple sew-in looked like I went to the flea market. They were overall unwelcoming and rude. Only time I was greeted nicely was after she realized I didn’t want change back and received a nice tip. Wouldn’t recommend you spend your money here.

I ended up loving the end results of my Fulani Braids but I was NOT too happy with the service and energy that the stylist had (I will not mention names). She was cold, referred to me as “client”, she was hard to reach since her phone only takes texts messages, she was rude when I was confused on where to park and how to get there, and just overall seemed very impatient with me when all I did was follow directions that were not clearly provided on her IG. She made the salon look unprofessional as a whole which is not fair to the Owner. I recommend the owner evaluate how the stylist present their business on social media because I was so confused when I pulled up. The stylist didn’t mention “ Doll Project” at all. I did end up tipping her very well because I worked in the service industry
