The Emerald

I’ve been going to Tya since high school, and there’s no one I trust more with my hair. She’s always honest, always real, and always, always gets it exactly right. The salon is cute, relaxed annd every appointment feels like hanging out with my best friend who just happens to be amazing at hair. I have super fine hair and adding just one row of hand-tieds has made such a huge difference. So much more volume and my hair looks way less “stringy.” They’re seriously so comfortable,, her stitching is flawless and she’s always keeping up with new education and methods. I can wear my hair in a high pony with nothing showing, sleep comfortably, swim… all the things. Couldn’t recommend her more!

Today was my first visit to the Emerald. The environment is clean, warm and welcoming. Jackie took the time to listen to my concerns and gave an amazing scalp massage! She gave me some great tips and I walked out feeling refreshed with a fantastic cut and style. She brought some life and body back to my hair and I smiled all the way to the car. Hats off to the owner and her team for creating such a cozy space and delivering an exceptional experience all around. I’ll be back!

Tya gives you a very professional experience. She walked me through the process of getting my damaged hair healthy again in order to finally get extensions. First time ever having them and I loved them! She taught me how to care for them properly so they would last. Fabulous care and customer service. I also get my nails done by the most talented artist, Carolina. Will never let anyone else touch my nails. She is the best!!

Tya is amazing! She’s been doing my hair for the last five years (even before The Emerald existed) and she kills it every single time.
