The Gentleman's Salon

I have curly hair, and my stylist Suzanne was awesome! I went on a Friday and after I left from the salon, my hair dried and became unmanageably poofy which neither of us expected since the cut looked great wet. However, they were more than happy to fit me into their schedule on Monday to get it fixed free of charge. I highly recommend this salon as they are super welcoming and experts at what they do.

To start Suzanne is an amazing hair stylist, she cut my hair perfectly and honestly better than I imagined. I showed her a Picture of the hair I want granted the person in the photo didnt have the same hair type as I did, but she did what she could and adapted that style to my hair type and it turned out better than I could've ever hoped. She took her time and you could Definitely tell she is invested in her work.

Had a haircut with Shelby Rinehimer at Gentleman Salon in State College and she was excellent. I just told her to give me a haircut that she felt would look good on me and she got it exactly right. She did not take long, but the cut came out clean, sharp, and suits my face really well. The sides and back are very neat, the length on top is balanced, and it still looks good after washing and styling. She was polite, confident, and easy to sit with. I really appreciate her work and would gladly book with Shelby again.If you are in State College and unsure who to choose, I strongly recommend opting for Shelby there!

I have gone to the same barbershop for 15 years, but due to needing a haircut on such short notice, I decided to schedule an appointment here. Staff was pleasant and welcoming. My stylist (I forget the name of the specific stylist) did exactly what i asked for and service was fast. I loved the work that my stylist did and so did my fiancée! Side Note: I’m on the autism spectrum and changes in routine or new environments can be nerve racking, but I will say that my experience exceeded my expectations and made for a pleasant experience. will be visiting again in the near future!

Went for over a year and it was the best haircut's I've gotten throughout all of state college. Suzanne is the best and could not recommend her enough!
