The Grain - Midtown

The Grain is my go to for a retwist/cut. BIG S/O to my loctician Kameron Samples for always getting me right and making my experience there welcoming and comfortable. Kam is thorough, attentive to detail, and his work speaks for itself. You can tell this isn’t just a job for him, and that he loves what he does. I’ve been to other locticians, stylists, and barbers in the city, and I’ve never been to a studio like The Grain that has such an open and warm environment. 10/10 would recommend.

Definitely don’t recommend going to Jadamauricia/byjadamauricia my appt was at 9am no response after texting & calling multiple times I waited for 2 hours drove back home ( 38 mins ) & she texted me at @12 apologizing saying she overslept that I can reschedule or get my deposit back that my wig is in her suite I asked if she could do my hair today no response so I drove back to get my wig , I didn’t believe it was my wig b/c it looked like it just went thru a battle & the black band was no longer inside I went back into my car & I finally got a call back @1 saying it’s my wig . She was smiling in my face like she didn’t care I wasted my time & gas money . Very disrespectful , bad for business & dirty suite & apparently she’s been late a couple times with other clients smh .

The studio is amazing, equipped with great stylist who are very professional, and has a unique decor. From haircuts to lashes they do it all! Damon is my barber and the service he provides is superior! The only stylist I’ll let give me a cut because of how he handles my hair, as well as his attention to detail.
