Always a great experience. Place is tucked away, so its hard to spot from the road, but well worth checking out!! I love that I can always walk in and get a cut. Everyone is amazing, check it out!!

Stylist/barber was superb and the prices are extremely reasonable. Family-owned and operated, the Hair Shack has been in business in Traverse City for a long time. Highly recommended!

First time walking in, I had no idea what to expect. When it was my turn to get a haircut, I experienced wonderful customer service!! The stylist asked me what I would like to have done and she accomplished the exact look I was looking for! While she was trimming my head and beard very nice conversations were to be had! Truly wonderful and enjoyable experience. I will continue to go back!! Well done!! Thank you for all you guys do!!

Love this place. Gone twice, last minute walk in both times and able to be fit in. I’m really nervous when I get my hair cut due to my hair line and cowlicks, very easy to mess up in my experience. The hairdresser listened to my ideas for the cut, made me feel comfortable and executed better than I could hope. I forgot the woman’s name who has cut my hair twice but she’s awesome! I will make this place my regular spot for getting the perfect cut as well as the friendly service! Thank you 🙏🏽

Came up to Traverse City for a family vacation and my son desperately needed a haircut. When I called they were able to get my son in for an appointment within the hour. Angie, his stylist was fast, friendly and very professional. The haircut for my son looked fantastic. I would highly recommend.
