If you need a haircut and are in the Jacksonville area I highly recommend The Hair Shoppe with Ms. Ethel. You will get personalized individual service and no one in town beats her price of $20 a haircut. I have very curly hair and Ms. Ethel has always done a fantastic job trimming it. I highly recommend her you will not be disappointed.

Ms.Ethel did a great job on my hair. I was very happy with the color that she recommended. Her prices are one of the best in town. $45 for full color and $20 for hair cut and blow dry. Highlight prices are great also, obviously prices vary on how much and which process you prefer as she does both cap and foil. She also does eyebrow waxing but I cannot comment on that as I did not have it done. Her shop is so adorable and cozy and I enjoyed the conversations. Definitely give her a call. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

I'm a bit of a skeptic when the salon is in the home and if the stylist has a little age-I want to be comfortable knowing the stylist is up with all the new trends. My first experience with the hair shoppe was today-I went against everything I try to avoid and went in anyway...I COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED!!! I walked in w/only a pic of a beautiful short cut I wanted. The pic showed only the front and there wasn't anytg to go on regarding the back of the hair, what is was supposed to look like, etc. TERRIFYING. I showed the pic to the stylist, Ms. Ethel. She sat me down, cut approx 7" off my hair and I was a new woman! She cut my hair EXACTLY as the pic showed and the back was amazing as well. I was stunned! Please... Ethel is the sweetest lady, you should definitely get your hair done by her. She’s so great with the kids too! She is wonderful to talk with, and her shop is very cozy!

Ms Ethel was amazing, she did a great job with my haircut and gave me a nice experience of a cute hair shoppe! Definitely coming back and taking my parents there!
