The Homewood Barbershop

I’ve been going to Homewood Barbershop for a while now and the cut is always good, every single time. Super consistent, and they really take their time to get it right. Sandy does an amazing job. She pays attention to detail, listens to exactly what you want, and makes sure you leave looking sharp. You can tell she truly cares about her work. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable spot with great service and an always solid haircut.

I am new in town and dropped in to get a much needed cut. They saw me within 5 minutes and I was out in 20. I saw Veronica Benson and she gave me a great cut and was very friednly! Will definitely return.

Really don’t like the new direction the owner has taken the joint. Her dad ran a tight ship and had long lasting employees. It’s now more designed for women, which is fine. But they ousted everyone who was once loyal to the business. I miss the old feel and the old owners and the old fella who used to cut my hair that left when the daughter took over. To each their own. If you’re a dude, look elsewhere, because this ain’t no barber shop no more.

Was looking for a new barbershop for consistency and availability. Was able to walk in and get a great haircut from Veronica. Team was friendly and welcoming. Also a great convenient location in downtown Birmingham.
