I went in for a retwist and color and absolutely loved my experience. The work was amazing, but what really stood out was how relaxing everything was. The full body massage chairs, dim lighting, and calm atmosphere made it feel like a spa day. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It truly felt like family. I was completely pampered. Money well spent!

From the moment I stepped inside, the energy was nothing but positive and uplifting. The space felt calm, welcoming, and full of good vibes. “Ain’t Nobody” by Chaka Khan & Rufus was playing, which instantly set the mood and made the experience even better. The staff was warm, professional, and truly passionate about their craft. I felt comfortable, relaxed, and well taken care of. I walked out loving my locs and feeling refreshed in every way. This loc shop is definitely a vibe—I’ll absolutely be returning ✨🎶💛

I have been apart of The Loc Shop community/family for over 2 years! Everyone here is great and knowledgeable about hair and skin products for melanated people. The Loc Shop gives off a majestic vibe that relaxes you as soon as you enter. Don’t get me started on the massage chairs that put you in a state of calmness while getting your hair right. I highly recommend visiting The Loc Shop not just to get your hair done but to purchase anything from outfits, toboggans with matching hat and gloves, clothing, purses and much more!!

So I booked an appointment for my son to get a retwist with barrels online it said $55.00. We get there early the stylist shows up and parks so close to me my son couldn’t get out so I let him out and move spaces. It was so many red flags after that unfortunately!!! While the stylist struggled to get in the shop I ask what forms of payments she takes etc prior to any services rendered. She spent about 10-15 minutes scrambling … touching my son’s hair, calling the owner, trying to get lights on with another guy just gave off unprofessional and unprepared vibes. She took pictures of my son’s short pics to call the owner about “ pricing” after telling us “ I can’t do barrels”. Love The Loc Shop! I went there for the first time for my birthday last month. The owner and her team are awesome! It was a great, relaxing atmosphere. They are all friendly professionals who have been trained to properly care for hair without a bunch of chemicals, dyes, and artificial fragrances. I got my locs detoxed, washed, retwisted, and styled. Loved it! Got my next appointment this weekend.😁
