The Nail Lounge and Spa St. Cloud

3 days later and my gel nails are peeling off. The male nail tech who did my nails honestly didn’t know what he was doing. He was burning me nonstop with the drill, and over filed my nails down to paper thinness. The polish had lumps and clumps that I saw once I got out into the sun. I think the salon is nice but I paid for these nails that wouldn’t even last past 72 hours and my nails are damaged.

I really wanted to like this nail salon—it’s conveniently located near my house, and I’ve given it three separate chances, hoping each visit would be better than the last. Each time I walk in, I’m barely acknowledged, and I always feel like I’m intruding. There’s no greeting, no warmth—just blank stares, as if to say, “Why are you here?” It’s an uncomfortable experience right from the start. As for the nails themselves, the work is mediocre at best. The techs don’t seem particularly attentive or detail-oriented. The end result has been sloppy and rushed every time—not what you want when you’re paying for a service that’s supposed to feel like a treat. Sadly, I cannot recommend this nail salon. Convenience doesn’t outweigh the lack of quality and hospitality.

First and last time, I'll come to this nail salon. The technician who did my nails was very nice, but he did a horrible job on my nails, which came up to almost 70 dollars. He put oil on my nails to disguise the horrible job he had done, so I didn't notice until I got home. I called the salon about 4 times, and no one picked up (during business hours). NEVER AGAIN!

I really like this salon because they usually do excellent work, especially with pedicures. But today, honestly, I left very disappointed. I asked for a specific style and even showed a picture, but they ended up doing something completely different—and not a good job at all. I even took the time to tell the person that the nail was too short, and she just said, “Don’t worry, it’ll be fine.” I showed her a photo of the design I wanted, but the result was, honestly, very, very, very disappointing. Unfortunately, I’ve decided to no longer come back, even though this used to be one of my favorite places.

I’m not from the Florida area but from South Carolina, and I stopped by because I was visiting family in town. But I had a great experience. Jenny did my nails and was super sweet and kind. Would definitely come here again!
